Main Task- Initial Idea

Characters-

There will only be three character in my opening scene to keep it as easy to follow as possible. The main character will be a boy named Matt. He is a teenage boy who has a bipola disease, this means that he has a second personality, and hears voices in his head. Matt will also be a gothic character, who is very into heavy metal bands.

The second character will be Matt's second persoanlity who will only appear as a sperate character very breifly at the end of the introduction. Matt's second persoanlity is the evil side of Matt who is bringing out the murder within Matt. Matt's second personality will not leave Matt alone, and only wants him to kill!

The third character will be Matt's bully at school named Ton. You do not get to know much about Tom in the opening scenes but from what is shown, he is your typical bully. He will be tall, dark hair and be very rude and childish.

Story-

The story of the opening scene basicaly is that we see Matt's bedroom as the opening shot, as the camera pans through some gothic posters that Matt owns. We then see the back of Matt, and using an over the sholder shot, through a mirror you can see his face. Matt is listening to the words of his second personality in the backgorund wile looking back at bad memorys, the two that are shown are one in a school corridor where Tom pushes Matt into a locker, and in a classroom where Tom pushes Matts books off of his desk. As Matt then leaves the room, from the mirror you can see in the background Matt's second persoanlity, who is laughing in a very evil way with a big smile on his face.

Setting-

The setting will be three diffrent places...

  1. Matt's Bedroom- Very dark small room with gothic posters, a bed and a mirror. The only light coming into the room is through a very slightly opened blind.
  2. School Corridor- A long coridor that is very light, and has lockers down either side of it.
  3. School Classroom- A typical normal sized classroom.
